The charming town of Sausalito was the getting away choice for an afternoon espresso for Giovanni and his wife. The car ride offered an appreciation of San Francisco’s beauty from a distance but also provided a suggestive serene atmosphere. The artist wanted to isolate the peculiar sailboat in the harbor scenario with gleaming color of the water and latent rocks.
